Responsibility for the Employees

Our responsibility for our employees is of central importance, because our team spirit, our skills and our willingness to work together are crucial to WISKA's success.

We attach great importance to safe and healthy workplaces and promote a positive working environment in which everyone feels comfortable.
We rely on the passion, motivation and commitment of our employees for continuous further development. That is why it is particularly important to us to promote the training and further education of our employees.
We foster a tolerant corporate culture that respects and promotes all employees and their talents, regardless of gender, age, religion, sexual identity, origin or disability.

Our current objectives include:

  • Carrying out a new employee survey in 2024 to find out about satisfaction and improvement requests
  • Roll out the WISKA app to all subsidiaries in 2024 with the help of Loxonet to promote communication within the WISKA Group
  • Clear statements on diversity, tolerance and equality throughout the Group in 2024
  • Demonstration of a transparent recruitment process
  • Continuous development of attractive working conditions
  • Continuous further development of the training program

This is where we stand today – this is what we have implemented so far:

  • Annual performance reviews with all our colleagues
  • Annual training programs and support for employees with individual development plans
  • Medical check-ups
  • Healthy working environment, e.g. height-adjustable desks in all offices, drinking water taps for filtered still/sparkling water and fresh fruit
  • Mobile and flexible working options depending on individual workstations
  • Alternative mobility options such as the Germany job ticket for public transport or JobRad
  • Opportunities to work on projects in a wide range of areas, such as digitalization or sustainability
  • One of our values is "TOGETHER" and for us this also means having fun together outside of work: from the summer party to the Christmas party with and without family as well as our Advent coffee for our former employees or as in the photo at the WISKA Business Cup 2018, where we played soccer together with employees of our subsidiary WISKA UK and our long-standing partners Hemmink and Haslam as well as customers
  • Strong commitment to training (18% of employees have completed their training at WISKA)
  • Supporting our employees in various phases of their lives
